How Invisalign Works?

Invisalign - The Clear Alternative to Braces

Your Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every week for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your dental provider. Typical treatment will require 6 months.

Invisalign is by-far the best "invisible braces" technology ever created. They are extremely thin and comfortable aligners that are far superior to all their competitors. Furthermore, invisalign orthodontics works extremely well with excellent predictability. The patient must wear their aligners for 22 hours of each day! It is very important the patient does not reduce the number of hours worn below this standard goal of 22 hours per day! Furthermore, it is extremely important the patient does not ever skip a day of use. If the patient accidentally skips one or two days it can result in relapse of some teeth causing all future aligners to become obsolete. If you wear your aligners as recommended, however, it is extremely predictable and easy to achieve excellent results.
